August 23, 2019 - Funfly: Rivers and Creeks

I hadn't been flying in two weeks and was looking forward to flying on this absolutely gorgeous Sunday morning.   The Hangar Row A Flyers weren't flying today so it would would be what I call a Fun-Fly.  Just me heading out and having fun.

Can you believe I forgot my Canon Digital Rebel camera?  So I just took a few pictures with the iPhone.

Here, I'm heading east looking down at the Chester River.  Notice the broken layer of cumulous clouds with bases at only about 2,000 feet.

The air was smooth even down low.  Visibility was exceptional.  Winds were light.

I flew a couple of creeks and rivers and up around the clouds and just had a great time.

Approaching Martin State airport on the right where the aviation gas price is the lowest around, although it is still stupid expensive compared to car gas.
